Online teaching at primary school

This is what a virtual classroom looks like from the teacher's perspective when a grade level is in quarantine.

The children have classes every day on a regular schedule, meet their classmates and their trusted teachers online, and continue to learn. After 7-10 school days, the quarantine is usually over and the class returns to school for face-to-face classes. Individual children who have to stay at home can participate in the classroom lessons via online streaming and are supervised.

In this way, we mitigate the impact of the pandemic on families as best we can, especially if parents are in the home office.

Even more important is to provide children, who depend on social contacts and friendships for good emotional development, with these contacts, at least online, and to structure their daily lives. Sensitive conversations with familiar educators visibly relieve the children and thus contribute to good coping.
